The pure and narrow spectrum of the PhlatLight devices create a color gamut 25% wider to NTSC, or 77% wider to Rec. 709
The light path is completely sealed and eliminates the fear of dust getting into the optical path or light leakage from the chassis. Most projectors have some type of light spill either around the lens or from the vents. However, thanks to sealed light engine that keeps the projector away from light spill around the active image.
The H9080FD’ s latest Gennum 9450 video processing has been configured to allow the user to manually change the projected frame
rate. Moreover, the H9080FD allows for Auto, which selects the refresh rate based on the incoming video signal, 48-Hz, 50-Hz, and 60-Hz, increasing smooth video performance. The video processing also does an excellent job of de-interlacing and scaling both standard- and high-definition sources with full support for film and video-based content for HD sources.
The H9080FD features nice array of connections, including two HDMI 1.3 inputs, RS-232 input for updates and remote triggers for communications and automated screens. The H9080FD is a fully updateable projector on the software end, allowing consumers to update firmware from a PC via the RS-232 input.
