the Sony VPL-EX4 is an extremely affordable data projector thats ideal for a number of applications, especially in education and businesses. These projectors are not only stylish but also provide a brightness 2100 lumens. Capable of projecting high-quality images, the projector offers XGA resolution, and come equipped with a short focal-length lens enabling large screen projection from a very short distance. And the supplied card-type Remote Commander® unit enables quick and effective control of the projector.
Because the VPL-EX4 were designed primarily for education and business, they are very quiet, include security features such as a password authentication system and a security bar, and include a variety of interfaces such as a monitor output, audio output, and RS-232C for control.
The Sony VPL-EX4 have a very low fan noise allowing audiences to concentrate on the speaker during presentations.
Approximately four seconds after power is applied, the projector's “start up image” is displayed and your presentation appears shortly thereafter.
With a control panel key lock and a password authentication system to help prevent unauthorized use of the projector. Also, a built-in security bar or Kensington® lock can be used to help prevent theft.
The supplied card-type Remote Commander unit can be used to adjust the VPL-EX4 projector settings such as digital zoom and audio volume or to activate APA, picture muting, and picture freeze functions. Also, because IR receivers are located on both the front and rear of the projector, the Remote Commander unit is effective from almost anywhere in the room.
Accepts a wide variety of video input signals from standard definition (SD) to high definition (HD), including composite, S-Video (Y/C), and analog RGB/component via the HD D-sub 15 pin interfaces.*3 In addition, the unit can accept computer signals from VGA up to SXGA+ (1400 x 1050).
