XGA Network Installation Projector

The Sony VPL-PX41 projector is packed with features designed to meet the requirements of diverse users in corporate, educational and rental environments. It is suited for use as a stand-alone display, integration in larger systems and connection to a Local Area Network (LAN).

The network functionality of the VPL-PX41 allows the projector to be controlled and monitored from a remote location. E-mail reports are easy to set up and prevent maintenance and lamp replacement being forgotten. The projector supports SNMP, the industry standard protocol for management and maintenance of equipment on LANs. It also has a comprehensive set of inputs and outputs.

Highlights
  • 3D Gamma Correction and 3D Digital Comb Filter
  • RGB Enhancer for RGB and DDE for video
  • integrated stereospeaker system
  • laser-pointer, mouse function and 4-times Digital Zoom

Instalation flexability

Three optional lenses designed for the Sony VPL-PX41, allowing huge adaptability to the requirements of different rooms and set-up environments. The projector can be tilted freely, upwards or downwards to 90 degrees, expanding its application possibilities to include, for example, use with holographic screens in Point of Sale (POS) displays

Network Capability

The VPL-PX41 offers following network capabilities:

  • IP Control; Connect to and control the projector over a LAN using the RJ45 connection.
  • Web Browser Access; The set-up menu can be changed and maintenance information can be obtained*.
  • E-mail Report; The projector can send emails to up to four preset email-addresses to inform of any errors and when
  • the lamp or filter needs to be replaced.
  • SNMP; Simple Network Management Protocol can be used for network management.

Password Protection

When this function is activated a password is required to use the projector (if the password is lost, Sony is able to retrieve it).

Control Panel Lock

This function locks the controls on the top and side of the projector, to prevent unauthorised or unintentional use of the controls. Functionality can be switched ‘on’ or ‘off’.

Direct Power On/Off

The projector can be set to skip the standby mode, so that it can be turned on or off directly using a mains switch. A cooling fan continues to work after the power is cut, ensuring that the lamp is not damaged.

Full Digital Processing

Digital processing delivers reduced picture noise, resulting in clearer images with less pictorial degradation.
