Hollywood-tuned colour
The PT-AE2000E benefits from Panasonic’s collaboration with Hollywood colourists, ensuring that its picture quality closely matches the look and feel of professional studio monitors. This Hollywood tuning gives films a natural and cinematic tone, allowing home viewers to enjoy movies as the director intends.
SmoothScreen technology
One of Panasonic’s signature innovations, SmoothScreen technology is designed to eliminate the visible pixel structure often referred to as the “screen door effect.” The PT-AE2000E delivers a seamless, film-like picture, creating a more immersive viewing experience, particularly on larger screens up to 200 inches.
Dynamic iris system
To achieve deep blacks and rich contrast, the AE2000E features a sophisticated dynamic iris system. By automatically adjusting light output scene by scene, it reaches a contrast ratio of 16,000:1, enhancing shadow detail and improving overall image depth.
Installation flexibility
Offers excellent installation versatility thanks to its 2x motorised zoom lens and extensive horizontal and vertical lens shift. These features allow the projector to be positioned off-centre or at varying heights while still producing a perfectly aligned image, making it suitable for many different room layouts.
Advanced connectivity
Equipped with dual HDMI 1.3 inputs, as well as component, S-Video, and PC connections, supports a wide range of sources. This connectivity ensures compatibility with Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, and home theatre PCs, making it a versatile centrepiece for modern home cinema systems.
Professional calibration tools
With features like advanced colour management, waveform monitoring, and fine-tuned gamma adjustment, enthusiasts and installers can precisely optimise picture quality for the viewing environment.
Carefully Tuned Lens System for Maximum Full-HD Performance
To assure maximum clarity in full-HD images, the AE2000E employs a new full-HD-compatible lens unit comprising 16 lens elements in 12 groups, including two large-diameter aspherical lenses and two high-performance ED (extra-low dispersion) lenses. Each lens is carefully aligned by highly skilled technicians to assure a uniform focusing balance from the centre to the edges of the screen. The resulting high-quality images are clear and free of distortion and colour bleeding.
Next-Generation Full-HD LCD Panels
The new next-generation full-HD LCD panels* 1 use vertically aligned liquid crystal molecules with inorganic alignment layers. When no voltage is applied, the molecules are aligned perpendicular to the glass substrate, so there is no light leakage and the substrate remains black (called “normally black” operation), providing higher contrast.
