The AI Picture Quality Scene 2.0+ function continuously analyzes the image, recognizes faces among other things, and adjusts color, contrast and sharpness scene by scene. It is joined by upscaling from standard- or high-definition sources to 4K (AISR), useful with a TV channel or an old DVD, and motion processing for fast-moving images.
These automated features are useful for a match or a live broadcast. For a carefully graded film, a fixed picture mode with minimal processing remains preferable, and Cinema and Natural modes sit alongside more vivid modes. The EH-LS7000 also has ISF certification, which provides settings memories reserved for calibration by a technician equipped with a probe.

The EH-LS7000 maintains the standard throw ratio of the entry-level models while delivering increased brightness of 3,600 lumens and a dynamic contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1. Its integration capabilities make it particularly well suited to dedicated home theatres, with ISF certification, network control and compatibility with Crestron, AMX and Control4 automation systems. A 12 V trigger output can also automatically lower a motorized projection screen when the projector is switched on, allowing the entire setup to operate seamlessly through a single remote control or wall-mounted control panel.
