The Sony VPL-ES3 is a versatile projector designed for use in the office, classroom or at home. Ideal for presentations, education, movies and PlayStation® gaming.
Brightness can easily be switched between high and standard mode (2000 or 1500 ANSI lumens) to suit room conditions and screen type. Six preset picture modes ensure users can quickly achieve an optimised image and the aspect ratio can be changed from 4:3 for data projection to 16:9 for watching movies.
The VPL-ES3 is suitable for mobile use and is also ceiling mountable. It has a wide range of inputs and outputs including monitor and audio outputs. The projector accepts high definition inputs.

Monitor Out
The VPL-ES3 can display the image simultaneously on a large screen and on an additional monitor (via a 15-pin D Sub connection), so that the user can face the audience and still see the information being shown.
RS-232C
Connections include an RS-232C port for control of the projector.
Control Panel Lock
This function locks the controls on the top and side of the projector, to prevent unauthorised or unintentional use of the controls. Functionality can be switched ‘on’ or ‘off’.
Password Protection
When this function is activated a password is required to use the projector (if the password is lost, Sony is able to retrieve it).
