The Sony VPL-CX76 is an updated version of the powerful VPL-CX75, now with high-speed wireless access. It’s equipped with Sony’s innovative Air Shot™ technology, which is based on the industry standard 802.11b/g wireless protocols. Everything you need for wireless use comes right in the box – including the wireless device for your computer and the self-configuring software that forms a secure communication link with the projector. It really couldn’t be much easier!
This workhorse projector delivers a powerful 2500 ANSI Lumens – plenty for larger meetings and higher ambient light conditions.
And of course, your IT Manager and Business Manager will both love it’s cost-effective power. Automatic setup functions make it easy for presenters to use. Powerful networking functions let you monitor and control projector status over the network using the built-in web server and SNMP compliance for vastly simplified service and maintenance in multi-projector installations.

Sony’s Air Shot™ (Version 2) technology also makes wireless presentations easy enough for first-time users. High brightness and high resolution ensure superb picture quality in any environment and thanks to Side Shot™ the Sony VPL-CX76 projector does not have to be placed directly at the centre of the screen. This new version offers the following advantages:
Photos (JPEG, DCF), video clips (MPEG1) and Microsoft PowerPoint files saved as JPEG can be viewed directly from the projector using Memory Stick™ media*. BMP and TIFF files can be projected by converting them to JPEG files, using the supplied Projector Station for Presentation software.
The VPL-CX76 has a standard size Memory Stick™ slot, compatible with Duo size and M.S. PRO. This means there is no need for a PC. Images can be controlled directly via the remote commander.
*Memory Stick™ media of over 2GB are not supported.
The fan continues to cool the projector after the power supply is removed, enabling users to unplug the projector immediately after use, without damaging the lamp. (Other projectors need to be cooled and remain connected to the power supply after use.)
