Short Focal-Length, and Zoom Lens

It is equipped with a zoom lens that has a focal length of 2.3m at 80-inches enabling large sized images to be projected, even in a limited space.

Auto Focus

The focus is adjusted automatically. This convenient function is attributed to built-in cameras, which measures the distance. No more wasted time waiting for the picture to be displayed and then adjusting the focus.

Powered Tilt Adjuster

The Sony VPL-CS20A offers power tilt adjustment, with a simple push of a button the angle of the unit relative to the screen can be adjusted.

Auto Keystone Correction

Vertically keystone distortion is automatically corrected according to the tilt angle. Keystone distortion can be corrected up to 20 degrees. This means images can be projected with correct geometry even when installation spaces is limited.

Smart APA (Auto Pixel Alignment)

The smart APA function automatically adjust and size PC image and displays for optimum picture performance allowing users to concentrate on their presentations, rather than time-consuming technical adjustments.

OFF & GO

The projector incorporates a built-in circuit that continues to run its cooling fan after the power is turned off. This feature allows you to unplug the projector and carry it away without waiting, because the fan continues to cool the unit. Turn off the projector in accordance with the operating instructions. The projector should be cool before inserting into the carrying case.

Control Panel Key Lock

The control panels on both the top and the side can be locked, preventing inadvertent or unauthorized adjustment.

Password-Authentication System

Once a user sets a password, the projector cannot be used without it. This function prevents unauthorized use of the projector.

Security Lock

It is possible to connect to an optional security cable such as a Kensington lock.

Fan Noise

Fan noise has been reduced by improvement of the cooling system

Eco-friendly

When set to "On" in on screen menu "Power Saving" the projector goes into power saving mode if there is no operation for 10 minutes with no signal input.

Freeze Function

Freeze a picture when a signal from a PC is input. During the picture freeze, the presenter can operate the PC for setting up the next presentation file or images.

Digital Zoom Function

Up to 4x digital zoom is available which can be controlled via the supplied Remote Commander unit. One section of the projected image can be zoomed in to show details of the image.

Picture and Audio Muting Function

The VPL-CS20A can mute the picture and audio temporarily. It is useful for video presentation or class room applications.
