High-Brightness Large Venue Projection
The Sharp XG-P610X is a high-performance large-venue DLP® projector engineered for demanding environments such as auditoriums, conference halls, rental and staging, and institutional installations. Using Sharp’s advanced DLP® optical engine and a unique dual-lamp design, it delivers exceptionally bright, clear images suitable for large screens in highly lit spaces.
The XG-P610X achieves up to 6,000 ANSI lumens using dual 280 W high-brightness lamps, providing powerful illumination while maintaining excellent image stability and color accuracy for professional projection applications.
Three-Chip DLP® Projection System
A three-chip DLP® architecture dedicates a separate DLP® chip to each primary color—red, green, and blue—using a prism-based optical system. This design eliminates color breakup and produces exceptionally smooth, vibrant images, even on very large screens.
Four-Mode Lamp Switchover System
The intelligent lamp system supports single or dual lamp operation with Eco mode on or off, allowing brightness and power consumption to be tailored to specific applications. Redundant lamp operation ensures uninterrupted projection if one lamp fails.
High Contrast and Optical Performance
The DLP® optical system minimizes light leakage and delivers a 1,800:1 contrast ratio, producing sharper blacks and improved detail in dark areas compared with conventional projection technologies.
Long-Life Sealed DLP® Optics
A sealed optical engine prevents dust, smoke, and dirt from entering critical components, maintaining image quality over time. The high-performance DLP® chip is rated for an estimated 20,000-hour lifetime, supporting long-term, continuous operation.
Advanced Image Processing
Image quality is enhanced through Pattern-Matching Motion-Detective (PMD-IP) conversion, which smooths diagonally moving edges and improves motion clarity. Additional processing includes Enhanced Three-Two Pulldown for NTSC film content, Two-Two Pulldown for PAL signals, video noise reduction, high-quality scaling, and Picture-in-Picture functionality.
Precision Color Management
A built-in color management system allows independent adjustment of shade, chroma, and tone across six colors—red, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and magenta—enabling precise calibration for demanding visual applications.
Flexible Installation Options
Powered horizontal and vertical lens shift simplifies installation while minimizing keystone distortion. Support for seven interchangeable lenses with a bayonet-style mount provides exceptional flexibility across a wide range of throw distances and installation scenarios.
Sharp Unique Network System
Built-in web browser control allows remote access and management without additional software. Network-based control supports power, input selection, volume, and AV mute, even from a separate location.
Diagnostics and Remote Monitoring
The network system includes automatic email alerts for error conditions such as lamp failure, overheating, or fan malfunction. The projector can also link directly to a designated service website for diagnostics, maintenance support, and real-time status reporting.
