BrilliantColor™ DLP® Technology
The Sharp PG-F262x utilizes BrilliantColor™ Technology with a six-segment 3x speed colour wheel (Red, Green, Blue, White, Yellow, and Cyan) to enhance intermediate colour tones and produce natural, highly detailed images. Sharp’s advanced colour matching technology ensures realistic colour reproduction with improved brightness and reduced colour break-up.
Full Digital Projection with DVI and HDCP
A DVI terminal combined with the DLP® system enables full digital projection with virtually noise-free images from digital sources. The terminal is HDCP compliant, supporting high-definition protected digital video content.
Advanced DLP® Imaging System
The projector employs a DLP® chip composed of over half a million individually controlled micromirrors. These mirrors, positioned only one micron apart, create a seamless, finely detailed image. High-speed switching produces smooth motion rendering, while the durable mirror structure ensures long-term performance stability.
High Brightness Performance
The PG-F262x delivers 2600 ANSI lumens of brightness, utilizing Sharp’s advanced optoelectronic technology to maximize light output and produce crystal-clear images suitable for classrooms and meeting environments.
IP Conversion Image Processing
Motion-adaptive IP conversion processing enhances video playback by smoothing moving images and preserving natural lines and edges, particularly for 480i and 576i signals.
Low Noise Operation
The high-speed colour wheel with non-contact Fluid Dynamic Bearings combined with multiple ultra-quiet cooling fans reduces operational noise to as low as 29 dB in Quiet mode, ensuring minimal distraction in meetings or classrooms.
Filter-Free Sealed Optical System
The DLP® sealed system prevents dust, dirt, and smoke from entering the optical core. With no filter required, maintenance is reduced and total cost of ownership is lowered. The absence of burn-in or afterimage makes the projector ideal for still-image applications such as CAD drawings or signage.
Front Exhaust Engine
A front exhaust design directs heat and airflow away from viewers, allowing audiences to remain focused on the screen without disturbance from fan noise or hot air discharge.
Quick Start and Direct Power Off
Quick Start allows image projection in approximately 3 seconds. Direct Power Off enables immediate unplugging after use and supports centralized power control with auto restart functionality.
Interactive Help Menu
An on-screen Help Menu assists users in diagnosing and resolving operational issues quickly and efficiently.
Presentation Assist Features
The included remote control supports mouse control and page up/down functions. Additional presentation tools include:
- Five selectable pointer icons for highlighting key information.
- Spotlight function with three adjustable sizes (1/25 to 1/9 or 1/8 of screen area) to focus attention on specific content.
