DMD™ (Digital Micromirror Device) Technology
The Sharp DT-300 incorporates a DMD™ (Digital Micromirror Device) chip to deliver high-contrast images with smooth detail reproduction. This technology enables precise light control for enhanced depth, clarity, and cinematic picture quality.
Five-Speed Primary Color Wheel
The projector features a five-speed RGB primary color wheel consisting of the three primary light colors. This design enhances contrast performance and color purity while minimizing color breakup artifacts for a more natural viewing experience.
Advanced Video Circuitry
The advanced video circuit architecture is engineered to optimize performance from audiovisual sources. By maximizing the optical precision of the DMD chip and high-speed color wheel, the DT-300 produces refined, high-quality video images suitable for home theater environments.
Low Noise Optical Engine
A newly developed optical engine minimizes fan noise, ensuring quiet operation for undisturbed movie viewing.
Lens Shift Function
The optical lens shift function allows vertical adjustment of the projected image, simplifying installation and enabling flexible placement without degrading image geometry.
2D Keystone Correction
The 2D keystone correction function electronically adjusts image geometry, allowing diagonal projection and greater installation flexibility.
HDCP Compatibility
The DT-300 supports the HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) system, enabling secure playback of protected digital entertainment content.
DTV and Widescreen Compatibility
Designed for use with DTV sources, the projector supports 16:9 widescreen images when connected to a DTV decoder or compatible video system.
User-Friendly Image Control
An easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI) with a multi-color menu system simplifies image adjustments. Additional controls include color temperature adjustment and a gamma correction function, allowing users to fine-tune image performance according to source content and viewing preference.
