DMD™ (Digital Micromirror Device) Technology
The Sharp DT-200 incorporates a DMD™ (Digital Micromirror Device) chip to deliver high-contrast images with smooth detail reproduction. This technology enables precise light control, resulting in enhanced depth and high picture quality for a true home theater experience.
Five-Speed Primary Color Wheel
The projector utilizes a five-speed RGB primary color wheel consisting solely of the three primary light colors. This design enhances contrast and color purity while minimizing color breakup artifacts.
Advanced Video Circuitry
Engineered for optimal performance with audiovisual equipment, the advanced video circuitry maximizes the optical precision of the DMD chip and high-speed color wheel, producing refined and high-quality video images.
Low Noise Optical Engine
A newly developed optical engine minimizes fan noise, ensuring quiet operation for uninterrupted viewing.
Flexible Installation Features
The lens shift function allows optical vertical image adjustment for easier setup. The 2D keystone correction function electronically adjusts image geometry, enabling diagonal projection and expanded installation flexibility.
HDCP and DTV Compatibility
The DT-200 supports the HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) system for secure playback of protected digital content. It also supports DTV and 16:9 widescreen images when connected to a compatible decoder or video source.
Comprehensive Image Controls
An easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI) simplifies image adjustments. Advanced controls include color temperature adjustment, gamma correction (adjustable according to input source), and a picture setting function that stores customized image parameters for quick recall via the projector or remote control.
Enhanced Connectivity
The projector features component video input (Y, PB, PR) for superior color and image quality. A multi-scan RGB input provides direct compatibility with VGA (640 x 480) and Macintosh systems without requiring additional hardware.
