Impressively Bright, High Contrast wide image

The outstanding brightness and stunning images of Sanyo PLV-WF20 projectors make them ideal for use in digital cinema and a host of other emerging needs for next-generation large-screen viewing. Sanyo has moved quickly to support the wide-screen format.

The new light-combining system was developed after extensively reexamining the conventional dual-lamp layout. The new system uses three mirrors to achieve uniform light output from two lamps, reducing color irregularities and delivering high image quality. Utilizing two high–output 330-watt NSHA lamps as its light source, the PLV-WF20, WXGA projector delivers an impressive 6000 ANSI lumens with a contrast ratio of 2000:1.

Highlights

  • Motor-driven Lens Shift
  • Digital Zoon
  • Logo personalisation
  • Key lock security
  • Shutter
  • Optional Network connection

High-Purity Optics

The high color purity of the Sanyo PLV-WF20 optical system optimizes the reproduction of the three primary colors—red, green and blue. It delivers the high level of color performance that digital cinema demands.

High Contrast System

This advanced optical system achieves high 2000:1 contrast to project high-quality images with rich black reproduction, maximizing the quality of the video signals.

Image Enhancing Circuitry

  • Triple 3D Digital Circuits:
The combination of a 3D digital progressive circuit, a 3D digital Y/C separation circuit, and a 3D digital noise reduction circuit produces truly beautiful images.
  • Hybrid Crosstalk Canceller:
The canceller minimizes crosstalk that is generated by signal interference between the LCD panel drive ICs and the driven pixels
  • Intelligent Sharpness Control:
This helps to render sharp, crisp projection images at all times, regardless of the RGB/video input mode.
  • 3D-AUCC:
This is a circuit that corrects color irregularities due to brightness differences, to produce natural gradation.

Durable IN-ORGANIC optical system (D.I.O.S.)

This Inorganic Optical LCD panel system provides a more durable projector to handle many applications for high-quality, high contrast image presentations.

High Reliability with active maintanance filter system (AMFS)

The newly designed cabinet of the PLV-WF20 has an improved air flow system. This sophisticated filter monitor system is efficient at controlling the temperature. An Active Maintenance Filter System automatically replaces the filter and also warns the user of clogged filters, resulting in better projector performance from improved dust resistance and easy maintenance.

Flexible Set-up

Optional Lenses - From short to long focus types, Sanyo offers a variety of optional lenses to match the projection distance, screen size, and projection conditions.

Optional boards - make the projector's conectivity very versatile .

More flexibility and more application options are realized with the following:

  • Mechanical Shutter System clicks into place to block the lamp light the instant you turn off the image.
  • New fan control with angle sensor allows 360° positions.
  • A center lens means versatile lens adjustment. The X-Y Power Lens Shift moves the lens both vertically and horizontally, aiding in greater placement flexibility. They both help in twin-stacking two projectors, enabling easy alignment of images from two projectors with virtually no geometric distortion. For even easier projector lens setup, the Lens Memory function automatically adjust lens shift, zoom and focus, once the projector is turned on.

Network Control

An optional PJ-Net Organizer network board allows for simple control and management of projectors via a CAT5 network connection.
