High Contrast Ratio and Brightness
A 300w NSH lamp, combined with high contrast optical system delivers an impressive 3700 ANSI lumens of brightness and a contrast ratio of 1000:1.
Progressive IC
A great developed progressive integrated circuit provides highly improved playback of moving images. 1080 interlaced signals are converted into progressive signals, while 2-3 pulldown doubles the resolution of images from DVD playback.
Polarized Beam Splitter (PBS) Optical System
This technology helps assure a high uniformity rate and a beam twice that of conventional projectors. It combines all of the S-wave light emitted from the Sanyo PLC-XP50 lamp with the P-wave light. The result is a super bright image with nearly the same brightness from side to side and top to bottom.
Power Lens Shift
This feature allows for easy up/down image alignment when two PLC-XP50 projectors are twin-stacked.
Network Control/Administration
The optional (POA-PN02) PJ-Net Organizer Plus allows for control and administration of a projector via a network. Projector status can be monitored, and projector functions can be controlled through a web browser. A notification can be automatically sent via E-mail whenever the projector encounters a problem, allowing the administrator to act quickly to resolve the issue.
Also provides for the transfer of image data from a PC through the network to the PLC-XP50. The Image Capture Mode allows for real time image capture and transmission. In the Network Viewer mode, image data can be called up from a network server, converted using the included software, and controlled and presented on the networked projector.
HDCP Compliant Digital Visual Interface
The digital visual interface (DVI-D) of the projector is high bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) compliant for playback of encrypted digital video sources.

You can capture logo files to display during the projector’s countdown sequence at startup.
