True High Definition eCinema projection
The Projectiondesign Cineo3+ 1080 was developed to meet the emerging requirements of High Definition eCinema environments. Its 1920×1080 DLP™ chipset delivers detailed, noise-free images with excellent colour fidelity, providing an experience that closely matches film projection. This makes it ideal for screening rooms, digital post suites, and commercial theatre spaces.
Dual-lamp DuArch™ illumination
Featuring Projectiondesign’s patented DuArch™ illumination system, the projector incorporates two independent lamps and colour wheels. The hot-swappable configuration ensures the show continues even if a lamp fails, eliminating downtime. Dual optimisers and illumination optics maintain consistent brightness and colour performance across long operating sessions.
High performance optics
Installation flexibility is achieved through a comprehensive range of six optional lenses with throw ratios from 0.79 – 6.5 : 1. Each lens is motorised and user-replaceable, supporting ±110 % vertical and ±90 % horizontal shift. This allows precise alignment in any projection environment, from small preview rooms to large auditoriums.
RealColor™ and BrilliantColor™
The Cineo3+ 1080 integrates Projectiondesign’s proprietary RealColor™ calibration system, simplifying setup and ensuring natural colour balance across all inputs. Combined with Texas Instruments® BrilliantColor™ technology, it achieves rich saturation and extended colour gamut for lifelike, dynamic imagery.
High brightness performance
With ample light output to meet SMPTE standards of 14 ft-L on an 8 m screen, the Cineo3+ 1080 offers true cinema-grade brightness. For smaller displays, lamp power can be reduced, extending lamp life without compromising colour or contrast integrity.
Network and asset management
Projectiondesign ProNet software provides complete projector supervision across single or multi-site installations. Using standard TCP/IP control, operators can monitor lamp hours, configure power cycles, and receive live system alerts. The projector is also Crestron RoomView® compatible, integrating smoothly into AV control systems.
DCI-compliant colour options
For post-production and grading applications, the Cineo3+ 1080 can be supplied with DCI-compliant colour wheels supporting a wider gamut. These specialised components ensure accurate representation of cinema mastering colour spaces.
Accessories
Ships with a backlit remote control, user-replaceable dual lamp modules (400-0400-00). Lenses are sold separately and available in multiple throw ratios to match installation needs.
