This achieves an astounding 50,000:1 contrast ratio, delivering deep blacks, wide dynamic range, and smooth transitions in both dark and bright scenes.
Pure Color Filter Pro
The PT-AR100 is equipped with Pure Color Filter Pro, which optimizes the light spectrum from the UHM lamp to produce richer blacks and more vibrant primary colors. Covering a color gamut from HDTV (Rec. 709) to digital cinema standards, this filter enhances image depth and provides vivid, lifelike movie-quality visuals.
Detail Clarity Processor 3
The AE100 employs Detail Clarity Processor 3 to bring greater clarity and sharpness to fine image details. By analyzing the video signal frequency in each scene, the circuit optimizes the sharpness of individual image areas. Super-high-frequency components, such as film grain, are faithfully reproduced, resulting in natural, lifelike images with adjustable effect levels from 0 to +7.
Motion Effect and Smoothness
With Motion Effect, the AE100 enhances fast-moving scenes by improving clarity and sharpness while maintaining smooth, natural motion. This ensures that sports, action sequences, and dynamic scenes are displayed with precision and minimal blur.
Waveform Monitor and Split Adjust Mode
The AE100 includes a Waveform Monitor for precise calibration, allowing users to view output fluctuations and adjust black and white levels automatically or manually. Combined with Split Adjust mode, scenes can be frozen for side-by-side comparison, making picture adjustments simple and accurate.
Advanced Gamma Adjustment
The AE100 provides Advanced Gamma Adjustment, giving flexible control over the gamma curve and precise calibration of brightness (Y) and colors (R, G, B) at nine points. Horizontal and vertical adjustment of these points ensures optimal gradation and tonal accuracy across the image.
Cinema Color Management Premium
Featuring Cinema Color Management Premium, the AE100 enables versatile color correction in two modes. Point Color Correction allows adjustments of a single color without affecting neighboring colors, while Six Color Correction provides independent control over red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, and yellow for highly accurate and flexible color reproduction.
