NEC Mirror projectors advance to the next stage

The NEC WT600 is a revolutionary ultra short-throw projector utilizing mirror projection technology to generate large, distortion-free images from an extremely short projection distance. Positioned just inches from the wall or screen surface, the projector eliminates shadow interference and glare, making it ideal for tight spaces, interactive environments, and high-traffic presentation areas.

Designed for exhibitions, live events, classrooms, and collaborative workspaces, the WT600 enhances engagement with NEC’s Easy Electronic Board functionality, allowing users to annotate directly onto the projected image using a movement-sensor pen. Its unique optical architecture and space-efficient installation capabilities make it a highly practical solution for environments where proximity, interactivity, and image scale are critical.

Highlights
  • Bright Vivid Image Projection - High brightness of 1,200 Output Lumens (960 ANSI Lumens)
  • High 2,500:1 Contrast for Real Expression of Subtle Colours and Shades
  • Wall Colour Correction - Accurate colour projection against walls and other surfaces that are not true white
  • On-screen Display of Setup Conditions and Inclination

Revolutionary Ultra-Short-Throw Design

Project a 60-inch large-screen image from only 26cm away!

Mirror projection technology with its ultra-short focal distance enables easy set-up in very restricted space. From making pitches in meeting cubicles to projecting on a partition, our new lineup of projectors represents not only powerful presentation technology but also new communication tools that open new possibilities such as projection in narrow show windows. 32dB operating level and energy-saving, long-life lamp in Eco Mode.

This innovative projection method is realized by using only 4 aspheric mirrors (1~4) that function as the lens of a conventional lens-projection-type projector. With each stage of reflection of the light rays off the mirrors, the projected image is enlarged.

High-Resolution Wide Display

Featuring native WXGA (1280 × 768) resolution, the WT600 is optimized for widescreen computer signals and HD content. The wide aspect ratio makes it particularly well suited for modern laptops and multimedia presentations requiring additional horizontal workspace.

Bright, High-Contrast DLP Performance

Utilizes DLP® technology to deliver sharp detail, strong contrast, and consistent color reproduction. Its high brightness output ensures clear visibility even in well-lit rooms, while the sealed optical engine design minimizes maintenance requirements.

Flexible Connectivity

Comprehensive input options include RGB/component, DVI-I (digital/analog), S-Video, and composite video, along with audio inputs and outputs for complete multimedia integration. These connections allow compatibility with computers, DVD players, HDTV sources, and other AV equipment.

Installation and Network Control

Designed for fixed installations, supports network control and remote management capabilities, enabling centralized monitoring and configuration across multiple units. Its compact wall-mount-friendly form factor makes it ideal for permanent setups in education and corporate environments.

Optional Wireless LAN Card (IEEE802.11b/g compliant card)

Wireless LAN requires installation of the Wireless LAN card (NWL-100E/NWL-100A) and utility software that both come with projector. In the case of IEEE802.11b/g-compliant Wireless LAN, radio waves are used for the exchange of data betweenWireless access points and PCs. Accordingly, LAN connections can be maintained as far as the radio signal can reach. On the other hand, because the range of radio signals is not restricted by obstructions such as walls, it is important to activate the security settings.

*In the case of the Apple Macintosh personal computer, only the HTTP server and mail notification functions can be used in a LAN environment.
