NEC’s widescreen NEC UM330w is a 3300-lumen ultra short throw projector that packs a multitude of features while delivering an extremely short throw distance for education and corporate applications. A complete interactive projector solution can be created using the optional eBeam interactive system. With its ability to be mounted to the wall directly above the screen on which it projects, this model helps eliminate the shadows and glare typically found with standard projection systems.
The UM330w includes a powerful 16W speaker, closed captioning and RJ-45 for remote management over a network, and its input panel includes dual HDMI, VGA and a microphone input to amplify the presenter’s voice. The optional NP02Wi interactive eBeam system enables accurate control and annotation at the screen surface.
Ultra short throw distances
Ultra short focal lenses provide for a larger image using a shorter throw distance when compared to a typical projector lens.
Quick start (3 seconds*1), Quick Power Off, Direct Power Off
3 seconds after turning on the power, the UM330w is ready to display PC or video images.
The projector can be put away immediately after the projector is powered down. No cool down period is required after the projector is turned off from the remote control or cabinet control panel.
The projector has a feature called "Direct Power Off". This feature allows the projector to be turned off (even when projecting an image) by using the Main Power Switch or disconnecting the AC power supply.
To turn off the AC power supply when the projector is powered on, use a power strip equipped with a switch and a breaker.

USB Display
Using a commercially available USB cable (compatible with USB 2.0 specifications) to connect the computer with the projector allows you to send your computer screen image to the projector without the need of a traditional computer cable (VGA).
Integrated RJ-45 connector for wired networking capability along with wireless networking capabilities

CRESTRON ROOMVIEW compatibility
The projector supports CRESTRON ROOMVIEW, allowing multiple devices connected in the network to be managed and controlled from a computer or controller
Eco Mode function
The "Eco Mode" energy-saving option enables the NEC UM330w brightness to be lowered in order to prolong the service life of the lamp and to cut power consumption, providing the surrounding light conditions allow this. This mode is furthermore characterised by lower operating noise
