Mitsubishi  XD500ust Projector

The issue of presenting in environments with limited projection space can be eliminated with the new XD500U-ST. This native XGA projector is equipped with an ultra powerful short-throw lens that can project an amazing 60-inch diagonal image from of distance of just 33 inches (83cm) from the screen.

Thanks to it's ultra-powerful short throw lens, which is capable of projecting a 152 cm diagonal image from just 83 cm away, the XD500U-ST makes the most of available space, no matter how limited. This feature can especially come in handy when in a ceiling installed configuration, as the short throw distance mean a presenter can stand in front of the projection without their shadow getting in the way of the presentation.

With an outstanding 2000 ANSI lumens brightness and a 2500:1 contrast ratio, the XD500U-ST delivers bright, eye catching images, and because of the very short distance the light has to travel thanks to its short throw lens, the XD500UST performs exceptionally in ambient light conditions.

BrilliantColor™ Technology is Texas Instruments latest innovation in producing amazing rich and vibrant colors. At Mitsubishi Electric, we developed a 6-segment color wheel that includes the colors of R,G,B,W,Y,C. Apart from the typical red, green, blue and white, we added yellow and cyan segments to display a wider color spectrum. In addition, we coded our color algorithms to emphasize brightness or color modes, designed to match the environment where the XD500UST is used.

Together with selective lamp powered modulation techniques, the XD500u-st with BrilliantColorTM technology acts intelligently to boost colors to improve the intensity and vibrancy of an entire display. For instance, when projecting an already-bright screen image, the lamp is programmed to provide brighter, more vivid colors. In contrast, if the image shows genuine color reproduction, thealgorithm delivers just the right colors with the appropriate radiance for maximum visual impact.
