Projecting Pure Emotion

Not everyone can appreciate a 1400:1 contrast ratio. There are those who think just any projector will make a great home theater. And then there are people like you, who notice the details, understand the technology and appreciate the engi- neering that make a great video projector and an incredible theater experience. The ScreenPlay 5700 delivers the image quality and performance you crave. Without breaking the bank

A CLEAR DIFFERENCE. If your home theater’s screaming for an upgrade, feast your eyes on the ScreenPlay 5700. Bring your cinematic experience to a new level with cutting- edge technologies pioneered in the latest ScreenPlay projector from InFocus. Fantastic image quality. Connectivity for up to eight sources. All at a price that will leave you with enough for some new DVD’s and a whole lot of gourmet popcorn.

The Screenplay 5700 (SP5700) with the latest DLP chip from Texas Instruments, the Matterhorn LVDS DMD was designed from the ground up to be used in affordable Home Theater applications.  Similar to the native XGA (1024x768 pixel) chips, the Matterhorn will eliminate problems associated with connecting 4:3 source when using a 16:9 screen in that all images will be scaled to the 16:9 format without running off screen.  Fast refresh capability featuring faster mirror speed and  5X color wheel is an notable improvement over the XGA cousin.

The new features translates to more fluid video performance without the typical motion artifacts, and the high contrast ratio produces colorful and dynamic image without noticeable Rainbows often associated with DLP.  ScreenPlay 5700 (SP5700)features Faroudja’s award winning DCDi processing and plenty of video inputs for home theater use.  It’s a great picture for the value, and definitely an improvement over the XGA chip counterpart.

New FLI2300 DCDi™ video processing from Faroudja

Three time Emmy Winner, allowing 3:2 and 2:2 pull down for the sharpest possible video without jagged diagonals (jaggies), color and sharpness enhancers, noise redirects, and videophile-grade scaler unique to FLI2300.

1000 ANSI Lumens

for clear picture that’s visible in less than optimal light conditions and 1400:1 contrast ratio for crisp blacks and detailed grayscales.
