Greater reliability and practicality, Dust and Smoke Resistance
The Epson EMP-6010 is a high-brightness XGA projector introduced in 2007 and discontinued in 2010, designed for demanding environments like corporate boardrooms, lecture halls, and installation-heavy AV setups. It delivers 3,000 ANSI lumens in High Brightness mode (2,300 lumens in Low mode) via 0.8″ 3LCD panels, with a native 1024×768 resolution, 600:1 contrast ratio, and 90% brightness uniformity. Powered by a 230 W UHE lamp (ELPLP45 / V13H010L45), it supports screen sizes from 30″ to 300″ at throw distances between 0.8 and 14.7 meters, using a manual 1.6× zoom and focus lens (F=1.75–2.42 / f=24.0–38.2 mm).
Connectivity includes dual VGA inputs, DVI-I, S-Video, Composite RCA, Component via VGA, USB Type A/B, RS-232 serial, and PS/2 mouse, with support for NTSC, PAL, SECAM, and HDTV formats up to 1080p. The projector features ±30° vertical and ±10° horizontal digital keystone correction, EPSON SizeWise™ resizing, and Picture-in-Picture functionality. It also includes firmware-level presentation effects, 1W mono speaker, and support for sRGB and Epson ColorReality™ color modes.
Security and maintenance features include Direct Power On/Off, password protection, user logo lock, timer lock, and a security bar for anti-theft mounting. The projector supports individual remote ID assignment, allowing multiple EMP-6010 units to be controlled independently with a single remote. The chassis weighs 6.99 kg and supports tabletop, ceiling, front, and rear projection

Increased Lamp Life
Lamp longevity has been extended to 3,500 hours in High Brightness mode—approximately 1.4× longer than conventional lamps. This enhancement significantly reduces replacement frequency and operating costs over time.
Air Filter Cleaning Notification
The EMP-6010 features an integrated cleaning notification system that detects filter blockage and alerts the user via an on-screen message and LED indicator on the main unit. This helps maintain optimal airflow and brightness without manual guesswork.
Filter / Lamp Change
Routine maintenance is simplified—filter and lamp replacements can be performed without removing the projector from its ceiling mount. This allows for quick servicing and uninterrupted operation in installed environments.
1.6× Zoom: Wide Range of Set-up
A built-in 1.6× manual zoom lens offers flexible image scaling across a wide range of screen sizes and throw distances. The EMP-6010 can produce a 60″ image from just 1.8 meters, supporting installations in constrained or obstacle-laden spaces.
Direct Power ON/OFF
Users can connect the projector directly to the room’s main power circuit or central controller. With Direct Power-On, the projector automatically powers up when AC supply is activated—eliminating the need for manual startup, especially useful for ceiling-mounted systems.
Operate Multiple Projectors Individually with a Single Remote
The EMP-6010 supports individual remote ID assignments, allowing multiple units to be operated independently from a single infrared remote. Switching between IDs provides discrete control for multi-projector setups.
Anti-Theft Features
Enhanced security includes a dedicated Security Bar for physically anchoring the projector to ceiling mounts or brackets. Additional features such as Power-on Protect, User Logo Protect, and Timer Lock bolster unauthorized access prevention and deter theft.
