The Epson EMP-5600 is a high-performance SVGA projector introduced in 2000 and discontinued in 2002, designed for corporate desktop and multimedia presentations. It delivers 2,200 ANSI lumens of brightness via 1.3″ 3LCD panels at a native 800×600 resolution, with a 300:1 contrast ratio and 85% brightness uniformity. Powered by a 200 W UHE lamp (ELPLP12 / V13H010L12), it supports screen sizes from 22″ to 300″ at throw distances between 1.0 and 14.6 meters, using a manual 1.3× zoom and focus lens with a throw ratio of 1.85–2.38:1.
Connectivity includes dual VGA inputs, DVI-D, S-Video, Composite RCA, Component via VGA, USB Type B, PS/2 mouse, and RS-232 serial control, with support for NTSC, PAL, SECAM, and HDTV formats up to 1080p.
The EMP-5600 features ±30° digital keystone correction, EPSON SizeWise™ resizing for VGA to SXGA compatibility, and Picture-in-Picture functionality. It also includes firmware-level presentation effects (Spotlight, Box, Bar, Cursor), 3W stereo speakers, and support for Crestron, Extron, and Panja control systems via RS-232.
