The Epson EMP-505 is a micro-portable SVGA projector introduced in the early 2000s, designed for PC-free presentations and mobile professionals.

The EMP-505 delivers 1,100 ANSI lumens of brightness via 0.9″ 3LCD panels at a native 800×600 resolution, with a 400:1 contrast ratio and support for 16.7 million colors. Powered by a 150 W UHE lamp, it projects screen sizes from 26″ to 300″ at throw distances between 1.1 and 13.8 meters, and includes manual zoom/focus, electronic keystone correction, and EPSON SizeWise™ resizing for VGA to UXGA compatibility.

PC-Free Presentations

A PCMCIA card slot has been added, enabling users to save presentations onto PCMCIA card. This function, 'E@syMP', enables the projector to be used in stand-alone presentation mode.

Less baggage and less time spent searching for presentations on your laptop! E@syMP allows presentations to be saved in JPEG format using EMP Slidemaker software and different presentations can be saved on different PCMCIA cards.

The EMP-505 reduces the baggage weight for the professional presenter without reducing the impact of their presentation.

High Bright 1100 ANSI Lumens

Brightness is a high 1100 ANSI lumens, achieved with a new 150W UHE lamp, providing bright, clear images in almost any environment. Both component video and an HDTV interface have been added, further improving the quality of the video image.
