PC Free Function
Connect a memory device containing your pictures, movies or presentations to the EMP-1815's CF card slot or USB port and start projection. It is also possible to rewrite the data on the CF card via a network; a convenient function for projectors installed in hard to reach places.
Smart Connection: USB Display
Connect to a PC using a convenient USB cable instead of the traditional RGB cable. Changing both the image input and output signals is no longer necessary when using a PC because it starts projecting automatically upon connection of the cable.
Quick Set-up
Simply pushing the Quick Set-up button adjusts the image to fit the dimensions of the screen in just 6 seconds. Even in situations where there is no screen, the emp-1815 faithfully corrects the vertical and horizontal angles of the image profile.
A/V Mute Slide - For More Effective Presentations
You can quickly stop and resume projection easily by opening and closing the A/V mute slide. It will automatically change to the low fan noise mode when the slide is closed. This function enables you to give more effective presentations by allowing you to halt projection and draw the audience’s attention elsewhere to show other materials during your presentation.
1.6x Zoom: Wide Range of Set-up
This is a convenient feature in rooms where there are obstacles that prevent the setup of the projector in certain locations. The EMP-1815 can project an 80" screen from just 2.4m away.
Filter / Lamp Change
Maintenance is simple because it is possible to change the filter or lamp without removing the main body from the ceiling mount.
Direct Power-ON/OFF
It is possible to tie the projector into the room’s main power source or a central controller in a room, so that when you turn the main power source the projector is also activated.
