The Epson EH-TW5800 (2008 model) is a premium home cinema projector built around Epson’s advanced 3LCD technology and the 12-bit D7 panel with C2Fine and DEEPBLACK enhancements. It delivers Full HD 1080p resolution, a contrast ratio of 75,000:1, and 1600 lumens of brightness, making it ideal for dedicated theatre rooms. The projector features a manual 2.1x Fujinon zoom lens, vertical and horizontal lens shift, and frame interpolation, allowing for flexible installation and smooth motion rendering. It supports HQV Reon VX video processing, ISF calibration, and anamorphic mode for true 2.35:1 widescreen viewing when paired with an optional lens.

Connectivity includes dual HDMI v1.3a, component video, S-Video, VGA, and RS-232c, ensuring compatibility with Blu-ray players, game consoles, and AV control systems.

The EH-TW5800 ships with remote control part number 1515068, offering full access to advanced menu settings and image calibration tools. It uses the ELPLP49 lamp module and ELPAF21 filter, with a lamp life of up to 4000 hours in Eco mode. Designed for quiet operation at 22 dB, it weighs 7.5 kg and supports screen sizes from 30" to 300", with a throw distance range of 0.87 to 19.15 meters.
