The Christie L2K1500 is a high-brightness large-venue projector designed for auditoriums, conference facilities, higher education, houses of worship and professional rental and staging applications. Its 15,000 ANSI lumen output and native 2K resolution deliver the brightness and image detail required for large-screen presentations and high-definition video.
The L2K1500 uses a 3LCD optical system with three 1.64-inch inorganic LCD panels and a native 2048 x 1080 resolution. A 3000:1 contrast ratio and more than 90% brightness uniformity help maintain consistent image quality across large projection surfaces, while support for signals from VGA through 2K accommodates a broad range of professional sources.
Four-Lamp Reliability
The four-lamp projection system provides high light output with built-in redundancy, while hot-swappable lamps allow servicing with reduced disruption. Auto-switching lamp operation can also maintain presentation continuity by automatically changing to another lamp when required.
Advanced Image Processing
4D Color™ technology provides enhanced colour reproduction for demanding presentation and video applications. The inorganic LCD panels are designed for long-term performance, while 3D Keystone™ technology provides both vertical and horizontal digital adjustment of up to ±30° for easier image alignment.
Flexible Lens System
Power-adjustable zoom, focus and lens shift provide substantial installation flexibility, allowing the image position and size to be adjusted without physically repositioning the projector. A range of optional lenses is available for different throw distances, from wide-angle applications through to long-throw installations.
Professional Connectivity
Professional input connectivity includes HDMI, HDCP-compliant DVI-D, D-Sub 15-pin and BNC connections for RGB, component and composite signals, together with S-video and RJ-45 LAN control. Two optional input card slots allow the system to be expanded for additional signal requirements.
Low-Maintenance Design
The robotic AutoFilter system reduces routine maintenance by automatically managing filtration, with the filter cartridge providing up to 12,000 hours of maintenance-free operation. Long-life inorganic LCD panels, user-replaceable lamps and top-access servicing further simplify ongoing maintenance.
Large-Venue Installation
The stackable chassis design allows two projectors to be combined for up to 30,000 ANSI lumens when additional brightness is required. A motorised light shutter can completely block the projected light when needed, while selectable 4:3, 16:9 and 17:9 aspect ratios support a variety of large-format content.
