The Christie 4K1000-KS is a compact, lightweight 1DLP laser projector delivering 10,050 ISO lumens and 4K UHD+ resolution for professional presentation, live events, rental and staging applications. Its 0.8-inch High Efficiency Pixel (HEP) DMD and high-efficiency blue laser phosphor illumination combine high image detail with efficient operation in a versatile installation platform.
The 4K1000-KS produces 3840 x 2400 resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 1,500:1 native contrast and up to 25,000:1 dynamic contrast. A four-segment, 4X-speed colour wheel provides smooth colour reproduction, while the projector supports omnidirectional installation and input frame rates from 23.98Hz to 120Hz.
High-Efficiency Laser Projection
The blue laser phosphor light source provides up to 20,000 hours of operation to 50% brightness at full power, extending to up to 50,000 hours in ECO mode. This long operating life removes the need for regular lamp replacement and makes the projector well suited to demanding installations and continuous-use environments.
Flexible Lens Options
Eight interchangeable powered lenses provide a wide range of throw ratios, including an ultra-short-throw option for installations where projector space is restricted. Motorised zoom, focus and lens shift allow accurate image positioning and sizing without physically moving the projector.
Warping and Blending
Built-in Christie Twist technology provides image warping and blending capabilities for complex projection surfaces and multi-projector installations. Optional camera-based alignment through Christie Mystique and compatibility with the Christie Intelligent Camera can further simplify projector alignment and setup.
Professional Connectivity
A comprehensive professional input set includes dual HDMI 2.0b with HDCP 1.4/2.2, 12G-SDI, DisplayPort 1.2a, USB 2.0 and HDBaseT 3.0. A 12G-SDI output and HDMI output provide additional flexibility for professional video distribution, while Ethernet networking supports projector control.
Advanced Contrast
Christie RealBlack technology can extend the contrast performance dramatically when enabled, with up to 4,000,000:1 specified contrast. Combined with the native 1,500:1 Full On/Off contrast and dynamic contrast of up to 25,000:1, the system is designed to provide greater separation between bright highlights and darker image areas.
3D and High Frame Rate Support
Active and passive 3D support enables immersive stereoscopic applications, with frame rates of up to 60Hz per eye. The broad signal-processing range also makes the projector suitable for demanding high-frame-rate and large-format visual applications.
