The HD-ready sx3500 also features four optional lenses for maximum flexibility. Image adjustment is catered for by a vertical lens shift system plus horizontal and vertical keystone correction. In addition, this high-end model offers enhanced security features, with PIN Security Protection to prevent unauthorized use. Users also benefit from convenient operating functions such as digital gamma correction, picture-inpicture (PiP) mode and freeze frame. The sx3500 Business Projector’s SXGA+ resolution of 1,400 x 1,050 pixels ensures that details are crystal-clear, even at the maximum image diagonal of up to0 10 metres. Its impressive 3,500 ANSI lumen brightness guarantees effortlessly brilliant images even in large conference halls. With its powerful specifications, the sx3500 is ideal for presentations, but also an outstanding choice for high-resolution CAD functions.

The high-end projector also performs convincingly with HDTV. HD-ready, it delivers outstandingly razor-sharp moving images with crystal-clear details. Naturally, it also offers 16:9 format for films.

The wide-ranging challenges and varied areas of application in everyday use is easily handled by the sx3500, which offers not only a standard lens, but also four further optional lenses with bayonet fitting for easy changeover.

In addition to a lens with 16 mm fixed focal length, the sx3500 offers three lenses enabling image diagonals of up to 10 metres to be achieved from throw distances of around 20 metres, making the projector ideal for large-size conference rooms.

The vertical lens shift system enables screen images from, say, ceiling-mounted projectors to be adjusted perfectly, and the horizontal and vertical keystone correction compensates for possible image distortion.

Like many other Toshiba projectors, the sx3500 also features an array of useful functions for business applications. The PIN Lock function, for example, requires a freely selectable PIN to be entered before operating the projector, thus protecting it from unauthorized use.

The sx3500 also boasts advanced features for user convenience; digital gamma correction ensures automatic adjustment to a variety of input signals, while Picture-in-Picture mode enables trainers, say, to play an instructional film over a PowerPoint training presentation. The Freeze Frame function “freezes” a moving image for more detailed explanations or question, then starts again at the same point.

The range of connections offered is also extensive, including component and composite video (each RCA) plus S-Video for input signals, BNC for computer and video input, M1-D (HDCP), Mini D-sub15 and, for sound, one RCA (video) and two mini-jacks. Signal output is via Mini D-sub15 or mini-jack for sound. A RJ45 network connection also enables the
