JVC  DLA-G11 Projector

The JVC DLA-G11 is a professional-grade D-ILA projector introduced in the early 2000s, known for its ability to deliver true SXGA+ resolution (1365 × 1024) using three 0.9-inch reflective D-ILA panels. It produces 1,000 ANSI lumens of brightness and a native contrast ratio of 350:1, making it suitable for CAD, medical imaging, and high-end presentations. The projector uses a 420W Xenon lamp (BHL-5002-SU), which provides stable, cinema-grade color reproduction, though with a relatively short lifespan of around 1,000 hours.

Installation flexibility is a strong point, thanks to its 1.5x powered zoom lens, power focus, and support for screen sizes from 42 to 300 inches. The throw ratio ranges from 2.0 to 3.0:1, and it includes inputs for RGB, component, S-video, composite, and RS-232C control. While fan noise and heat output are notable due to the powerful lamp, the G11 remains a respected choice for environments demanding high-resolution, pixel-free imagery. It’s also one of the earliest D-ILA models to bring workstation-level clarity to large-format projection
