FLCD projection chip Basicly this is Samsung's version of LCOS.  The high speed switching, uniform broadband visible spectrum response, wide viewing angle and high contrast between on- and off-pixels makes FLCOS Microdisplays very attractive for projection system developers as they can be used with fast optics without loss of contrast or efficiency. Although it may have a slight edge over LCOS it remains to be seen weather it will be addopted by the developers as LCOS has the first foot in the door.
