Sony SXRD brightera projection   VPL-FH500

7000 Lumen WUXGA Installation Projector

The VPL-FH500 with Standard lens (WUXGA/HD resolution) offers peace-of-mind operation with a twin-lamp system that provides both a redundant lamp and economical operation. It also delivers amazing installation flexibility and hassle-free maintenance in a stylish design that blends into any décor.

Sony VPL-FH500 Highlights

  • WUXGA resolution with Full HD Compatibility
  • Twin-lamp System
  • Extreme lens shift of vertical ±113% and horizontal ±63%
  • Long lamp and air filter maintenance cycles
  • Low Power Consumption
  • Blend-in Design

3LCD XGA BrightEra Panel Technology

Sony's BrightEra Panel Technology gives more accurate colour rendition, higher brightness and longer lifespan for a lower Total Cost of Ownership

Ultra High Resolution

The VPL-FH500 WUXGA (1920x1200) 16:10 format resolution delivers absolute best image quality

Ultra High Brightness: 7,000 Lumens Colour Light Output

With ultra high brightness of 7,000 Lumens Colour Light Output, the VPL-FH500L gives a very clear image in high ambient light, making it highly suitable for larger venues.

Wide Lens Shift Range: Vertical: +/-113%, Horizontal: +/- 63% (depending on optional lens)

The Sony VPLFH500's wide lens shift range means that the projector can be positioned closer to the ceiling, or horizontally offset to avoid ceiling obstacles

Interchangeable Lenses

The VPL-FH500 allows you to choose the characteristics of the projector's optics by selecting from a range compatible with previous models

Dual Lamp Capacity, Auto-Switched, Giving Effective 6,000-8,000 Hours' (High/Std) Lamp Life

When a lamp reaches the end of its life, there's no downtime: the projector automatically switches to a second lamp, already in place, doubling the effective lamp life and halving the number of maintenance visits required, yielding lower Total Cost of Ownership

Lamp/Filter Replacement Cycles Synchronised

Synchronised lamp and filter replacement effectively halves the number of visits needed to maintain the projector in peak operating condition. (Filters are provided with replacement lamp.)

Side by Side Image Projection

Side by side twin image gives you the ability to project from two inputs (RGB + any other Input) at the same time, making the projector ideal for applications like video conferencing and DICOM medical training

DICOM GSDF Simulation

The VPL-FH500L offers DICOM GSDF Simulation (HDMI with computer signals), which conforms to GSDF (Grayscale Standard Display Function) of medical standards for DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine).

Wide Range of Image Adjustments

This wide range of image adjustments allows the projector to be installed in almost any location. Where equipment is being upgraded, installers are more likely to be able to use existing mounts. In new installations, they are more likely to be able to work around existing obstructions.

User Panel Alignment

Pixel alignment shifts the entire image or desired range (H: 16 X V: 10 pixels) for complete colour correction.

Colour Matching

The VPL-FH500 offers brightness and colour matching adjustment to the original image for complete image accuracy.

360-degree Orientation

The VPL-FH500 can be turned vertically for installation. This flexibility allows the projector to be used in several different ways.
