Projectors with BriljantColor technology The XD2000U projector offers BrilliantColor for Texas Instruments DLP technology, which utilizes a new color-processing algorithm and system level enhancements to enable higher brightness for both business and home projectors while providing truer, more vibrant colors. BrilliantColor enables a greater than 50 percent increase in mid-tone images, which are common in video and natural scenes, so the XD2000U reproduces images in realistic and true colors. This greater flexibility in color processing lets customers expand the color palette beyond red, green, and blue to include yellow, white, magenta and cyan. BrilliantColor allows for more realistic and lifelike color reproduction and enables new levels of differentiation for DLP chip technology customers. The XD2000U has a five-segment color wheel to optimize color accuracy. "This new projector offers easy installation and precise color reproduction," said Frank Anzures, product manager, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America. "Anyone who needs high performance, versatility and rich colors will find the XD2000U the perfect choice." With XGA resolution (1024 x 768 pixels) and weighing less than 20 pounds, contrast ratio of 2000:1 provides details in dark images while keeping light areas from getting washed out. The XD2000U offers high brightness, 3500 ANSI lumens, and are perfect for nearly any lighting situation Mitsubishi projectors - Bayonet lens mount The XD2000U also features a bayonet lens mount and motorized horizontal and vertical lens shift, offering more installation options in board rooms, schools and churches.
